One that I didn’t realize was GOOD good is Interview with a Vampire. I’ve seen a handful of S2 episodes, and every choice they’ve made to break with or expand on the novel is perfect. I heard good things about it, but it’s far beyond my expectations.
Eric Bogosian plays the interviewer, and my wife said, “isn’t that the guy who’s always some sort of reporter? I know he’s Eric Bogosian, but I don’t know if that’s his name or the name of one of his characters…”
That being said, if anyone wants to make an Anthony Bourdain biopic, there’s your man.
